Common Name The Rigid Cleistes

Flower Size 1.4" [3.5 cm]

Found in southern and southwestern Venezuela in rather boggy soils at elevation around 2000 to 2300 meters as a large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a erect, villous below, glabrous above, shortly branching above stem carrying small distant sheaths and no leaves that blooms on a terminal and on the branches, erect, 1 to occasionally 2 flowered inflorescence.
