Common Name Uribei's Cleistes [Colombian Orchid Enthusiast and original collector of species]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Cauca Colombia along roadsides amongst ferns and undregrowth at elevations of 1500 meters as a medium to just large sized, cool growing terrestrial with erect, slender stems carrying 3, along the stem, oblong to elliptic-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, short, single to few flowered inflorescence with oblong lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying medium sized flowers with pinkish sepals, purple red petals, a purple red lip with a bright yellow callus.
