Found in central Sulawesi in upper montane rainforests at elevations around 2300 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to close set, cylindric pseudobulbs carrying 2, narrowly lanceolate, acute, apex turned inward, 5 nerved prominent beneath, papery to coriaceous, narrowing below into the short, grooved, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a synanthous, peduncle basre, 5.4[13.5 cm] long, raschis 3.28" [8.25 cm] long, simultaneously, laxly 7 flowered inflorescence with deciduous floral bracts and carrying small white flowers with yellow spots
