Common Name The Leafy Cranichis

Flower Size Very Small

Found in Huanuco department of Peru on fallen tree trunks of old trees as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with mostly at or near the base, oblanceolate-elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves, the cauline leaves are similar but much smaller, sessile and long sheathing that blooms on a terminal, erect, peduncle 7.2 to 18" [18 to 45 cm] long, provided with 1 to more infundibular sheathing bracts, rachis 4.4 to 6" [11 to 15 cm] long, elongate-cylindric, subdensly, many flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate, acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
