Common Name The Long Bracted Cyclopogon

Flower Size .08" [2 mm]

Found in the Districto Federal of Venezuela on the lower edge of the cloud forest at elevations around 1700 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with 3 or so, basal, in a rosette, glabrous, patterned in light green with dark green faint lines, ovate, acute, abruptly narrowing below into the thick, rigid, pink to red, deeply canaliculate, petioalte base leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, peduncle to 16.4" [42 cm] long, provided with and almost completely coverd by many, lanceolate, acute sheathing bracts, rachis to 2" [5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with prominent, narrow, pinky-green, much longer than the flowers floral bracts and carrying brownish flowers with a white lip.
