Common Name or Meaning Warming's Cyclopogon [Danish Plant collector in Brazil later 1800's]

Found in Minas Gerais, Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo states of Brazil as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial orchid with several, oblong, acute, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, peduncle 7.2 to 10" [18 to 25 cm] long, slightly sinuous, rounded, pale pink, provided with several, distant, tubular, acute, sheathing bracts, rachis 2 to 4.8" [5 to 12 cm] long, 12 to 20 flowered inflorescence with lanceolaate, acuminate, externally slightly puberulent shorter than the flower floral bracts and carrying small erect-patent flowers.
Hoehne states that this species is similar to Cyclopogon bicolor but differs by the peduncle being always slightly pink and that the lip is more constricted in the midde and the apex is trilobed.
