Found in Mauritius and Reunion at elevations around 1200 to 1600 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a single, erect, plicate, 3 veined, elliptic, basally clasping leaf that blooms in the late winter through early summer on an erect, 14" [35 cm] long, successively several flowered inflorescence.
