Common Name The Gnome-Like Dendrobium

Found in the Santa Cruz Islands, formerly New Hebrides, in moss in the rainforests at elevations around 800 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with densely clustered, yellow stems carrying many, linear-oblong, tapering towards either end, distichous, alternate leaves and blooms in the spring on a .2" [.6 cm] long 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes on older leafless canes and have flowers that do not fully open.
