Common Name or Meaning Lueckel's Dendrobium [German Orchid Enthusiast late 1900's]

Found in Thailand at elevations of 1200 to 1300 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with clustered, club-shaped stems that are dark green with brownish markings and carry 5 to 8 narrow leaves arranged in 2 loose rows that blooms in the spring on a short inflorescence that arises from near the apex of the stem and carry 1 to 2 flowers.
Similar to both D christyanum but D luekelianum differs mostly in the raised callus on the lip with a white colored apex.
