Found in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia at elevations around 200 to 1100 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, decumbent to pendent stems and carrying articulate to the sheath, green, linear-oblong, acute, apiculate leaves that blooms in the late spring through fall on a short, single flowered inflorescence.
