Found in Tanzania near Mt Kilamanjaro at elevations around 600 to 950 meters as a warm growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying near the apex of the stem, 2, opposite, ovate, obtuse leaves that blooms in the late summer and earlier fall on an erect, terminal, 4.4" [11 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence
