Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Bahia, Minas Gerias, Espirito Santo, and Sao Paulo states of Brazil at elevations of 500 to 1400 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect, canelike, cylindrical, slightly compressed towards the apex stems carrying alternate, narrowly lanceolate, very obtuse leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a terminal, erect, shorter than the leaves, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
