Found in the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam in primary, very wet, mossy cloud forest on mossy rocks and tree trunks at elevations of 800 to 1600 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte that blooms in the spring with to 4, erect, arising from the nodes near the apex, 25 to 30 flowered inflorescence carrying honey scented flowers.
