Common Name The Fleshy Lip Galeottiella

Flower Size .16" [4 mm] long

Found in Mexico and Guatemala in the understory of pine forests at elevations around 2900 meters as a medium to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with fasiculate-tuberous roots giving rise to 3 or 4, linear-lanceolate, held up to the the middle of the greenish yellow stem, present at blooming leaves that blooms in the early fall on an erect, racemose, 12" [30 cm] long, densely 16 to 45 flowered inflorescence carrying flowers that are held at almost a right angle to the ovary.
