Common Name The Elegant Platanthera

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Assam aat elevations around 1525 to 1700 meters a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying many, erect, small, almost imbricate, sessile, ovate to oblong leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, rather densely, several flowered inflorescene with ovate-lanceoalte acute, longer than the ovary floral bracts.

Kew includes P dyeriana as a synonym of this species and it may be but I have left them separate pending better references.
