Common Name The Kei Habenaria [refers to Kei a Department of the Moluccas]

Flower Size

Found on Maluku island in the Moluccas as a medium sized, terrestrial with an erect, terminal, thin, glabrous stem carrying 6 to 8, erect patent to patent, lanceolate-ligulate, acute to acuminate, glabrous leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, 6.4" [16 cm] long, cylindrical, densely many flowered inflorescence with erect-patent, lanceolae, acuminate, glabrous, equal to to slightly shorter than the flowers floral bracts.

H keyensis is closely related to H dryadum but with evenly spaced, leafy stems and differently proportioned pletals and lip.
