Common Name King's Habenaria [English Director of Royal Botanical Garden in Calcutta late 1800's]

Found in Thailand and Perak state of Malaysia around limestone areas at elvations around 960 to 1550 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial that blooms on a 12" [30 cm] long inflorescence, a dorsal sepal that is .24" [6 mm] long, lateral sepals with .24" [6 mm] long upper edges and a similar width, the petals are narrower and blunt, the lip has a midlobe that is not as strongly bent as in H reflexa and the anther canals are not projecting more than .16" [4 mm].
