Common Name Kraenzlin's Habenaria [German Botanist later 1800's]

Flower Size

Found in Natal & Transvaal states of South Africa in open highland grasslands at elevations of 1000 to 1800 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2, radical, adpressed to the ground, somewhat fleshy, apiculate, broadly ovate leaves that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on a terminal, erect, laxly to moderately densely many flowered inflorescence.
