Common Name The Five Fingered Habenaria

Flower Size .32" [8 mm]

Found in Rio Grande do Sul state of Brazil and Uruguay as a miniature to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a short, thin, obscurely angled, leafy stem carrying linear-lanceolate, acuminate, basally clasping, erect-patent, 3 nerved leaves that blooms in the summer terminal, erect, 1.6 to 3.2" [4 to 8 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, as long as the ovary floral bracts and carrying small, erect-patent, more or less greenish flowers.
