Found in Kerala state of India in grasslands at elevations around 400 to 500 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing terrestrial with an erect, leafy stem carrying a few, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate to elliptic-oblong, acute, mucronate, cuneate at base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, to 6" [to 15 cm] long, 6 flowered inflorescence
