Found in Andrah Pradesh state of India at elevations around 700 metrers as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial with an ellipsoid tuber giving rise to an erect, terete, 8" [20 cm] long stem carrying grading larger upwards sheaths, with an apical cluster of 5 to 6, broadly ovate, uppermost 2 smaller, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the early fall on an erect, 4" [10 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence carrying pinkish white flowers with the spur slightly longer than the flowers
