Found in Fiji in dense forests at elevations sealevel to 975 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an erect stem leafy in the upperhalf and carrying 4 to 8, elliptic, acuminate leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, 4 to 7" [10 to 12.5 cm] long, lax, several to many flowered inflorescence
