Found in Santa Cruz department of Bolivia at elevations around 1500 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, terete stem carrying 5, erect-patent, oblong to lanceolate-oblong, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, 3.6 to 4" [9 to 10 cm] long, densely to 20 flowered inflorescence with suberect, lanceolate, acuminate, lower ones as long as the flowers, upper ones somewhat shorter floral bracts.
