Common Name Tuerckheim's Habenaria [German Orchid Collector in Mexico late 1800's early 1900's]

Found in Chiapas, Colima, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Sinaloa y Veracruz. states of Mexico and Guatemala at elevations around 350 to 1200 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with an erect, terete, glabrous, substrict, short stem carrying 5 to 6 basal, rosulate, elliptic, acuminate, glabrous, thin textured leaves that blooms in the later summer and fall on a terminal, erect, to 4.8" [12 cm] long, to about 20 flowered inflorescence with ascending, concave, lanceolate, acuminate, green, trinerved, as long as the ovary floral bracts.
