Common Name The Undulate Habenaria [refers to the wavy margined leaves]

Flower Size .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] wide

Found in Reunion at elevations of 500 to 1500 meters as a just medium to large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a fibrous tuber giving rise to an erect, leafy above the middle, bracts below stem carrying scattered, erect, sheathed, slender, lanceolate, light green, acute, wavy leaves that blooms in the summer through fall on an erect, terminal, .8" [2 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, very acute floral bracts and carrying fragrant [ammoniacal], greenish yellow flowers
