Found in Uruguay and Argentina as a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial with a short stem enveloped completely by leaf bases and carrying 4 to 6, conduplicate linear, acuminate leaves that blooms in the later spring on an erect, terminal, densely many flowered inflorescence with longer than the flowers floral bracts
Kew puts this one as a synonym of H parviflora
