Common Name The Blistered Habenaria

Found in Mauritus as a terrestrial with an obong-ovoid tuber giving rise to an erect, terete, glabrous dotted stem carrying close set, alternate, elliptic-lanceolate, acute, narrowing below in the attenuate petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, simple, many flowered inflorescence and carrying flowers with a thin spur, abruptly blistered and subglobose apically.
