Common Name Warming's Habenaria [Collector of species 1800's]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Minas Gerias, Bahia, Espiritu Santo, Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo states of Brazil in as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with erect stems enveloped by linear, long acuminate, three nerved, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer and earlier fall on an erect, to 4" [to 10 cm] long, 8 to 12 flowered inflorescnece with erect-patent, cucullate, long acuminate to aristate, as long as the ovary floral bracts.

The first drawing is of the species H warmingii, the second is H reidelii which has been placed as a synonym of H warmingii.
