Common Name The Wenshan Hemipilia - In China Wen Shan Wu Zhu Lan

Flower Size .16" [4 mm]

Found in Yunnan province of China in forests at elevations around 3000 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a oblong tuber giving rise to am erect stem provided with 1 to 2, basal tubular sheaths and carrying 2 apical, erect to porrect, oblong-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the later summer on an erect, peduncle ebracteate, rachis .6 to 1" [1.5 to 2.5 cm] long, subdensely 6 to 9 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying non-secund flowers.
