Common Name The Pygmy Herminium

Flower Size .12 to .2" [3 to 5 mm long

Found in Bhutan and Xizang province of China on wet cliff ledges at elevations around 3900 to 4000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with globose tubers giving rise to an erect stem provided with a single tubular sheath and carrying 2 to 3 basal, linear-oblong, apex subacute leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, peduncle cylindrical provided with lanceolate, acute peduncle-scales, rachis glabrous, .08 to .18" [2 to 4.5 mm] long subdensely 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with minute, lanceolate, acute, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying secund flowers.
