Found in Natal Province of South Africa in cracks in vertical sandstone cliffs as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing lithophyte with a slender, hairy stem carrying 2 basal, ovate, hairy, green at flowering time leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, secund, to 2.2" [5.5 cm] long, 15 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, hairy floral bracts.
