Common Name The Beautiful Microchilus

Found in Venezuela and Cauca Department of Colombia at elevations around 2500 to 3200 meters as a large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a decumbent basal becoming erect apically, subdensely leafy stems carrying lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate, acute to shortly acuminate, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, spicate, laxly many flowered inflorescence with membraneous, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, as long as or shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying green to greenish flowers.
