Found in the department of Alta Verapaz of Guatemala at elevations around 1600 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 6 to 9, glabrous lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-elliptic, tridentate apically, subfleshy, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer on 1 to 2, shorter than the leaf, .28" [7 mm] long, cogested, distichous, successively single, few flowered inflorescence
