Common Name Koehler’s Lepanthes [German collector of species earlier 1900’s]

Flower Size

Found in Junin department of Peru and Bolivia at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with short ramicauls enveloped by 3, tightly clasping lepanthiform sheaths with slightly dilated, ovate, acuminate ribbed and microscopically papillose ostia and carryinga single, apical, erect, elliptic, minutely tridentate, entire, nsrropwing below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms on a thin, peduncle longer than the leaf, rachis flexuous, 4.8” [12 cm] long, elongating, laxly successively single, many flowered inflorescencce with lanceolate, acuminate, almost as long as the pedicel floral bracts.
