Common Name The Oscar Lepanthes [Guatemalans, Sr Maldonado, Sr Archila and Sr Choc Orchid enthusiasts and all named Oscar current]

Flower Size .14" [3.5 mm]

Found in Totonicapan department of Guatemala in cloud forests at elevations around 2800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, oblanceolate, green above, brick red beneath, slightly tridentate, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, congested, distichous, .4 to 1" [1 to 2.5 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers.

Similar to L tecpanica but L oscarii is a completely erect plant.
