Common Name Soto's Lepanthes [Mexican botanist died 2009]

Found in Alta Verapaz department of Guatemala in cloud forests at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 4 to 7, brown, inconspicuously dentate lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, orbicular, green, tridentate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later summer on an erect, l;onger than the leaf, 1.6" [4 cm] long, successively single, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
