Common Name Flecker's Liparis - The Slender Sphinx Orchid

Flower Size .4 to .48" [1 to 1.2 cm]

Found in northern and northeastern Queeensland Australia in highland rainforests on trees and rocks at elevations of 900 to 1600 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with fleshy, dark green pseudobulbs with wrinkled ridges carrying 2, apical, thin textured, dark green, acute leaves that blooms in the fall through winter on an erect, 6 to 10" [15 to 25 cm] long, 5 to 20 flowered inflorescence
