Common Name The Tiger Hills Liparis

Found in the Tiger Hills at elevations around 2500 metres as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a long rhizome giving rise to small,ovoid, obscurely lobed pseudobulbs carrying 2, rarely 1, alternate, cordate, obtusely acuminate to slighyly caudate, delicately fleshy, whitish green, entire, clasping, below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, simple, 2.4" [6 cm] log, more or less 10 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying deep brown lipped flower

Differs from L rostrata and L odorata in the much smaller plant with differently shaped leaves and very small flowers. Also the bracts are lanceolate and acuminate and the lip is deep brown with obscure terminal lobes.
