Common Name Sebastian's Lycsate [Guatemalan Sebastian Hernandez Samayoa Orchid Conservationist]

Found in Alta Verapaz department of Guatemala at elevations around 600 to 700 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with brilliant, subglobose pseudobulbs carrying 3, ribbed, plicate, elliptical leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect, provided with a single bract similar to the floral bract, 2.4" [6 cm] long, rachis flattened, single flowered inflorescence with a orbicular, acuminate, as long as the ovary floral bract.
