Found in Pingtung county of Taiwan grasses that receive direct sunlight at elevations of 300 to 400 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot growing terrrestrial with 4 to 5, plicate, obliquely elliptic, acute, basally constricted into a broad petiolate base leaves leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, slightly compressed, peduncle 2.8 to 4" [7 to 10 cm] long, rachis .8 to 1.2" [2 to 32 mm] long, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, longer tha the pedicellate ovary floral brcts and carrying yeelow brownish flowers
