Flower Size 2" [5 cm]

Found in Colombia, Venezuela and the Venezuelan Antillies at elevations of 500 to 1900 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an abbreviated rhizome giving rise to clustered, ovate, subancipitous, compressed pseudobulbs enveloped by several, imbricate, inner ones leaf bearing sheaths and carrying a single, apical, oblong-ligulate, acute, attenuate into the conduplicate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on an axillary, erect, single flowered inflorescence enveloped by imbricate, scarious bracts.
