Found in southern India at elevations above 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a stem enveloped completely by imbricate leaf sheath bases carrying linear, sometimes falcate, acute to obtuse leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a thick, erect, flattened and adnate tothe uppermost leaf peduncle to 4.4" [11 cm] long, rachis to 3.8" [9.5 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence
