Found in eastern Cuba as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul carrying a single, apical, ovate-lanceolate, acute, coriaceous leaf that blooms in the later fall and earlier winter on a basal, dense fascile, successively single to 8 flowered inflorescence
