Flower Size 1 1/2" [3.75 cm]

Found from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Natal South Africa and Madagascar at elevations of 30 to 900 meters in humus among rocks in shade of riverine forests or thickets as a medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, linear to lanceolate, narrowing below into a petiolate base, leathery, gray-green with blue gray and white-gray blotched leaves and blooms in the summer through fall on a basal, unbranched, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, loosely 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence.
