Common Name The Red Dot Oncidium

Flower Size 1.4" [3.6 cm]

Found in Colombia as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte that blooms in the winter on a 14" [35 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence.

Cited as a synonym of C olivaceum but there are obvious floral differences and also is very similar to C mimetica in plant and growth habit but differs in the callus being nose shaped, triangular in lateral view and not a 5 parted tuburcle which is rectangular in lateral view in C mimetica
