Common Name Landy's Phaius [Madagascan Landy Rajaovetona Botanist current]

Flower Size

Found in southern central east Madagascar in forests at elevations of 1000 to 1100 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with 2 to 3, elliptic-obloanceolate, acuminate, elongate petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later spring on a 18 to 24" [45 to 60 cm] long, 5 to 8 inflorescence with triangulate-ovate, acute, shorter than the ovaries floral bracts.
