Common Name The Lily of the Valley-Like Pholidota - In China Ao Chun Shi Xian Tao

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in the Chinese Himalayas, Assam, eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand, Java, Sumatra and Vietnam at elevations around 1370 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with a thick, woody rhizome giving rise to long-conical, curved, yellowish green pseduobulbs and carrying 2, lanceolate, tough, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a 8" [20 cm] long, to 20 flowered inflorescence arising from newly arising growths and has narrowly lanceolate, acute, longer than the flowers floral bracts and carrying fragrant flowers.
