Found in Siberia, Japam, the Aleutians and Alaska as a small to just medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender stem carrying oblong-lanceolate to oblanceolate, decreasing in size upwards, lower obtuse, upper acute, leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 2.8 to 4" [ 7 to 10 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate to linear-lanceoate, as long as to slightly exceeding the flowers floral bracts.
Close to P stricta but differs in the smaller flowers and the longer, more slender spur
