Found in Corsica, Sardinia, Spain, Morroco and Algeria as a medium szied,warm to cool growing terrestrial with usually paired, fusiform tubers giivng rise to basal, 2 to 3, opposite, oblong-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, stout, 12 to 32" [30 to 80 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers
