Found in western Cuba at eleavtions around 200 to 400 meters as a small sized, hot growing terrestrial with an erect, slender stem carrying a few, green, linear-lanceolate, acute, conduplicate, rapidly decreasing in size above leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, terminal, to 6" [15 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence
